Our 1st Game: BEARCATS VS CORNING BOBCATS
Both the 7th grade and 8th grade teams lost, despite very close and exciting games. The 7th grade team made a comeback, but it fell short as they lost the game by 2 points. The 8th grade team fought an even larger depisite, down by 23 at halftime, to lose by only one touchdown.
Our 7th Grade Team 2008
Our 7th grade team played 9 games with 3 consecutive Wins to close out the season.
The 7th Grade Team had the 1st Win in school history vs Manila. The Bearcats Won 18 to 14. C.J. Henry scored 2 touchdowns. Chandler Thompson connected with Devon Newton on a 65 yard pass to seal the victory!
Our 8th Grade Team 2008
The 8th grade team played 10 Games with 2 Wins. The team played exceptionally well, considering many of the games they were playing against 9th graders opponents.
The 8th Grade Bearcats had their first Win of the Season vs. Rivercrest. The Bearcats Won 14-8. Ryan Cupp returned an interception for the winning touchdown in the last 12 seconds.
